Claims are reviewed based on the Terms & Conditions of Your Clyde Protection Plan.
Clyde Plans come in two flavors: Protection Plans with coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling and those without coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling.
Accidental Damage from Handling covers damage from drops and spills while the product is used as intended.
Unfortunately, damage caused by animals, (even cats!), is not considered Accidental Damage from Handling and is not covered.
If you submitted a claim for Accidental Damage on a plan that doesn't cover it, or you submitted a claim for damage that isn't considered Accidental Damage from Handling, the claim will not be approved.
Additionally loss/theft and damage incurred during shipping are never covered by Clyde Protection Plans.
However, if your claim was denied under Limited Warranty coverage, the damage falls under terms of the Limited Warranty and you can reach out to the retailer directly to file a claim.
