This article will guide you through the steps you need to take to get Clyde up-and-running on your Shopify store. Are you asking yourself, what is Clyde? we’ve got you covered (insert link). 

Download Clyde

When you install the Clyde app, we automatically receive your product catalog which is necessary so that we can match your products to warranty contracts. Don’t worry, nothing will go live on your website until you tell us to launch.

Customize your CTA

Summary

The CTA or call-to-action refers to the widget that your customers use to purchase a Clyde warranty. It can be displayed on three pages in the customer purchase path, and has different formats and locations within the Product Page. 

Instructions

Use the Preview tool on the Customize page to see how the CTA will look with different combinations of locations and formats. When you’re ready, use the Location section to make your selections. 

  1. Go to Customize
  2. Preview the options by clicking on the different tabs.
  3. Choose your options in the 'Location' section. Scroll down as 'Location' is located below the fold. 
  4. Confirm by clicking 'Save' in the bottom right 

 

Connect your Bank Account

For billing purposes, Clyde requires that you connect your bank account before we can launch on your store so that we can collect our service fee and the insurer's premium. 

If your bank account is based in a foreign country, please contact support@joinclyde.com or contact us through the chat widget on joinclyde.com. You cannot connect a non-U.S. bank account to Clyde. 

There are two options to verify your bank account: 1) Login through Plaid  2) Confirm micro-deposits.

We recommend using Plaid because it is quicker and less work for you.

To start:

  1. Login into Clyde
  2. Click the 'Settings' gear icon in the bottom left.
  3. Click 'Add Account' 
  4. Select Plaid or micro-deposits

To confirm micro-deposits

  1. Wait 2 business days
  2. Login into app.joinclyde.com
  3. Click the 'Settings' gear icon in the bottom left.
  4. Submit micro-deposit amounts

 

Next Steps

After you’ve gone through the steps in this guide, the ball is in Clyde's court. We automatically collect your product catalog and then we’ll match your products to contracts. After matching, you’ll be ready to launch. We’re both excited!
